Obituary of Sandrina Pavan

Sandrina Pavan, 100, the wife of the late Joseph Pavan died on Sunday (March 9, 2014) ending her remarkable journey on earth and her amazing reward in heaven has begun. She was born in Italy the daughter of Girolamo and Maria Sabbadini and had lived in Manchester since 1939. Sandrina had helped at the family dairy farm and later worked at Manchester Mills. She greatly enjoyed working in her garden, doing needle point, knitting and crocheting. She had a tremendous love for her family and was an inspiration to all she met. She is survived by her children Mary Ann Stankiewicz and her husband John of Manchester and her son Aldo Pavan and his wife Cathy of Florida; her grand-daughters and their spouses Debbie and Steve Lausier, Pam and Steve Shive, Laura and Dave Hess, and Julie Stankiewicz and her fiancé Ben Teaford; her great-grandchildren Jason, Amy, Steven Jr., Julie, Nicole and Lauren; her great-grandchildren Hannah and Ella; her sister Angelina Favert of Canada and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by her siblings Ines, Olga, Lucia, and Lorenzo and her loving daughter-in-law Valedah. Sandrina's family would like to thank the staff at Crestfield for their exceptional care especially during her final days. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (3/12) at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester, followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption, 27 Adams Street South, Manchester followed by burial in East Cemetery, Manchester.
