Thomas J. Hughes, 75, of Manchester, the husband of the late Julia (O'Kane) Hughes died Monday, February, 24, 2014 at Crestfield Nursing Home in Manchester. Born in Bronx, NY he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Spitz) Hughes. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had retired as a Stock Broker from Hartford National Bank after many years of service. Tom was a long time member of the Washington Social Club and the Army/Navy Club in Manchester. He is survived by his sons, Thomas J. Hughes, Jr. and his girlfriend Tracy Prims of New Britain and Brian Hughes and his wife Lilly of Hartford; and his grandchildren T.J., Julia, Michael, Angelo, and Alexis.
