Obituary of Victoria B. Orduz

Victoria B. Orduz, 94, of South Windsor, the wife of the late Aliro H. Orduz died peacefully, Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Barranquilla, Columbia, on December 23, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Hipolito and Evangelina Barriosnuevo, had lived in Manchester for 43 years and most recently in South Windsor for the past 11 years. A loving, selfless, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she is survived by her daughter Sonia Lacy and her husband John, with whom she made her home, of South Windsor; her sons, Vladimir Orduz and his wife Alma of Shelton, Jairo H. Orduz and his wife Marjorie of Manchester, and Byron A. Orduz and his wife Kathleen of South Windsor; eight grandchildren Alexa, Vidal, Jessie, Aimee, Christopher, Keith, Sara and Victoria-Taylor; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday (February 19th) at 11:00 a.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, Manchester.
