Obituary of Shea C. Choma
Shea Carney Choma, 34, passed away unexpectedly on February 4, 2014, leaving this world much too soon. Born in Manchester, CT on July 8, 1979, she was the daughter of Stephen and Susan Choma of Glastonbury. Shea grew up in Glastonbury and was a 1997 graduate of Glastonbury High School. An avid artist, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Plymouth State University in NH. She was employed at Eppendorf in Enfield and resided in Vernon. Shea was a sensitive, caring spirit who loved animals, especially cats and horses, she had a soft heart for any little creature that would have her. Shea was always ready to lend an ear or a hug to anyone in need. Her silly sense of humor and quick laughter were well known, as was her ability to liven up any room. She touched many lives with her bright spirit. She loved her family and her many friendships. She will be greatly missed but her memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Shea is survived by her loving parents, and her older sister Chelsea Choma of Portland, Maine, and her younger sister Stephanie McNabb and her husband James of Philadelphia, PA as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday (January 11th) at 9:45 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center Street Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial held at 10:30 a.m. at St. Dunstan's Church 1345 Manchester Road, Glastonbury, CT. Family and friends may call the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
