Charles E. "Chick" Trombley,Sr. 76, the beloved husband of forty-three years to Elizabeth "Betty" (Lippo) Trombley died peacefully on Saturday (January 18, 2014) at Manchester Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side. Born in Portsmouth, NH he was a life long resident of Manchester, CT. Besides his wife he is survived by his son Charles Trombley, Jr. and his girlfriend Tracey Shirshac of Manchester, his daughter Linda Fessler and her husband Joe of W. Hartford, two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. Chick is also survived by his brothers and their spouses Ronald and Deanna Trombley of Sequin, TX, Raymond and Carol Trombley of Glastonbury and Rick Letts of Glastonbury, his sister-in-law, who called him "Dad", Kathleen Mozzer and her husband TJ of Northport, FL as well as several other brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. The Trombley family would like to offer a special note of thanks to Davita Dialysis of Vernon for their wonderful care over the past six years and to the doctors and staff of the ICU department at Manchester Memorial Hospital, for making his final days both painless and peaceful for Chick and his family.
