Francis E. Cresenzi, 71, of Manchester, died Saturday November 9, 2013 at Aurora Senior Living in New Britain. Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Francis and Rebecca L. (Sardella) Cresenzi. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served on the U.S.S. Springfield as a fire control technician from 1961-1965. He is survived by his children Frank Cresenzi Jr., Anthony Cresenzi and Donna Cresenzi-Wilkie, and his brother Robert J. Cresenzi and his wife Sharon. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday (November 15th) at 11:00 a.m. East Cemetery, Manchester. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of the arrangements.
