Obituary of Rose W. Mozzer

Rose W. Mozzer, of Manchester, died peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, November 07, 2013. Born in Manchester, the daughter of Edward and Margaret Wilson, Rose was predeceased by her husband, Charles of 56 years, her sister, Eleanor Wilson and brothers Edward and John Wilson. She leaves her sons, Charles Mozzer, of Idaho, Thomas and Denise Mozzer, of Chaplin, daughters, Patricia and Barbara Mozzer of Manchester and Sharon and Edward Tryon of Enfield and brother-in-law, Anthony Mozzer of North Carolina. She is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Rose was as sweet as her name, a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Rose worked for several years in public service for the Town of Manchester Police Department, the State of Connecticut 12th Circuit Court, UCONN Campus and at the Conn. Health Department, before retiring. Rose loved to read, UCONN Women's Basketball and a trip anytime of year to the Connecticut shoreline. Calling hours will be at Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester on Saturday (November 9th) from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial in St. James Cemetery, 368 Broad St., Manchester.
