Willie J. Gilbert Jr., 57, of Manchester died Tuesday October 22, 2013 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of Inez (Woolfolk) Gilbert of West Philadelphia and the late Willie J. Gilbert, Sr. A computer programmer in the insurance industry, he had worked for CT Mutual, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross and The Hartford. Besides his mother, he is survived by his children Gregory J. Gilbert and Diana E. Gilbert of Bloomfield; his brother Kenneth Gilbert of West Philadelphia, his sister Jacqueline Paulk and her husband Drexel of Stone Mountain, GA; and two nieces. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Saturday (October 26th) from 4-6 p.m. Burial in Philadelphia, PA will be private.
