Obituary of Normand E. Leclerc

Normand E. Leclerc, Sr., 77, of Manchester, beloved husband of Jo (Leone) Leclerc died Wednesday (October 2, 2013) at Vernon Manor. Born in Berlin, NH he was the son of the late Harry and Eva (Oliver) Leclerc and had lived in Manchester since 1956. Normand was formerly the owner of A&A Pump, co-owner and operator of Vic's Pizza, Manchester and in his semi-retirement he was the owner of Marselli Jewelers. He was a member of the National Guard for 13 years, former officer and member of Manchester UNICO and the Knights of Columbus in Englewood, FL. Normand was an avid skier and camper especially sharing these times with his family and loved ones. Besides his wife he is survived by his children Normand E. Leclerc, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Lebanon, Deborah A. Leclerc of Manchester, Michelle L. Lewis and her husband Keith of Manchester, and Robert A. Leclerc and his wife Jill of Farmington; his grandchildren Monica Arbo and her husband Dale, Valerie and Theresa Leclerc, Alyse Carter and her husband Tim, Frank Lewis, Chase Freschlin, and Samantha Leclerc; his brother Henry Leclerc and his wife Nancy of Portland; his sister-in-law Doris Leclerc of Wethersfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers Roland, Paul, Leon, and Raymond Leclerc; and his sister Rita Leclerc. Normand's family would like to extend a special note of gratitude to the staff of Vernon Manor especially One East for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Monday (October 7th) at 9:15 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester followed by burial in St. James Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday 4:00-7:00 pm.
