Obituary of Rocchina Erardi

Rocchina M. Erardi, 94, the wife of the late Joseph V. Erardi,Sr. died on Saturday (January 14, 2012) at Touchpoints of Manchester. Rocchina was born in Hartford the daughter of Francis and Marie (Leroy) Laraia. She was a graduate of Bulkeley High School, Class of 1935 and had lived in Manchester since 1960. She was formerly employed at the Iona Co., Travelers Insurance Co. and the Board of Education, Town of Manchester. Rocchina devoted her life to her family and the catholic church. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister she is survived by her children Rocco Erardi and his wife Mary Lou of Canton, Frances Beaulieu and her husband Ken of Manchester, Cathy Caruso and her husband Lenny of Manchester and Dr. Joseph Erardi, Jr. and his wife Sue of Watertown; her grandchildren Scott and Lauren Erardi, Dana Edwards and her husband Travis, Carrie Williams and her husband Scott, Nick Caruso, Jon Caruso and his fiancée Caroline Skaparas, Joseph Erardi, III and Chelsea Erardi and her great grandchildren Brayden and Torin. She is also survived by her siblings Mary Jane DeVito, Frank Laraia, Ann Ruggiero and Millie Leva. Rocchina was also predeceased by her siblings Leonora Laraia, Tristina Silvestri and John Laraia. In adhering to Rocchina's wishes the funeral service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester, CT 06040. The John F.
