Obituary of Marilyn Cavanna

Marilyn P. Cavanna, 68, of Manchester, beloved wife of Albert Cavanna died Monday (September 23, 2013) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Webster, MA, she was the daughter of the late Walter B. and Cecelia Paprowicz. She graduated from Bartlett High School, Webster, MA, received her Associates from Manchester Community College, her Bachelors from Eastern Connecticut State University and her Masters from UCONN. She spent nearly 25 years in educating the youth at Manchester High School in Mathematics. Marilyn was active at the Manchester Senior Center, where she was an Advisory Board Member. An avid reader, she was a member of two book clubs and loved to travel. Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Christopher Cavanna and his wife Linda, of Manchester, Craig Cavanna and his wife Susanne of FL, Carolyn Edins and her husband John of TX, and Casey Cavanna and his wife Rachel of Old Lyme, CT; and her grandchildren, Emma, Danielle, Isabella, Justiss, Aubrie, Matthew, Willow, and Meadow. She is also survived by her very special niece Jayne Harper, sister-in-law Ann Gorski, brother Dick Paprowicz, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday (September 28th) at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption 29 Adams St. South, Manchester. Family and friends may call at the John F.
