Raymond D. Keating, 88, of Manchester, died Thursday September 12, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late William Murray Sr. and Edna Francis (Muldoon) Keating. Raymond retired as a Principal Accountant in the Analytical Department at the State Department of Transportation. He also formerly worked at Cheney Brothers. Raymond is survived by two nieces, Patricia Nimirowski Lokiec of East Hartford, and Laura Nimirowski Blake of The Woodlands, TX and her husband Tony, three great nephews, a great niece and three great- grand nephews. He was predeceased by his brother William Keating Jr., and sister Priscilla Anne (Keating) Nimirowski. Family and friends may call to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester, from 8:30-9:30am on Monday September 16. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00, at the Church of the Assumption with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery.
