Obituary of Carl Regini

Carl J. "Snaz" Regini, Sr., 92, the beloved husband of the late Geraldine C. (Kamener) Regini died on Wednesday (January 11, 2012) at the Hebrew Health Center in West Hartford. Carl was born in Hartford the son of Francesco and Lucia (Lauretti) Regini and had lived in Manchester for fifty years. He served in the US Army during World War II and was formerly employed at Stanley P. Rockwell, Co.. Snaz was an avid sportsman who loved to golf, rooting for the NY Yankees and Giants and the UCONN men's and women's basketball teams. He was a life time member of the Italian American Club of Stafford Springs. He is survived by his partner of twenty-nine years Dolores Taylor; his sons David Regini of Stafford Springs and Carl Regini, Jr. and his wife Karen of Vernon; his daughters Carlene Scussel and her partner David Ford of Stafford Springs and Sharon Posocco and her partner Dominick Garreffa of Hamden, MA; Dolores's children Dori, Neil, Joe and Sally and his grandchildren Marty, Cory, Ryan, Michelle, Brian and Jennifer and eight great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Emma and Mary and his brother Armand. Funeral service and burial will be private.
