Eileen C. Riccio, 90, the wife of Rudolph L. Riccio died peacefully on Monday, July 8, 2013 at her home in Manchester. She was born in Elmhurst, Queens, NY the daughter of Michael and Kathleen (McLaughlin) Comaskey and had lived in Manchester since 1957. Eileen was a proud graduate of Ladycliff College in Highland Falls, NY, Class of 1944. She was an original member of St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester and had been an active parishioner in church matters for over fifty years, including teaching CCD and visiting local convalescent homes. She had also volunteered with the Meals on Wheels program. Eileen is also survived by her sons Attorney Eugene Riccio and his wife Leslie of Fairfield, Michael Riccio, DMD and his wife Cathy of Ipswich, MA and John Riccio, MD and his wife Jennifer of Morrison, CO and her grandchildren Courtney, John, Anna Lee, Erin, Elise and Julianna. She was predeceased by her sister Kathleen Comaskey. Funeral services will be held on Thursday (7/11) at 9:15 from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St., Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at St. Bartholomew Church, 45 Ludlow Rd.
