Richard Balboni, 45, a lifetime resident of Manchester, passed away on May 20, 2013 at home with family. Rick, an avid camper and Halloween enthusiast, loved spending time with his wife Patty and their four teenage children, Stephanie, Kristen, Rachael and Andrew. A 1985 graduate of ECHS and 1989 graduate of UCONN he worked in the life insurance industry for 22 years, last at Aetna. Rick is also survived by four sisters and their families, Justina Pang and her partner Ed Jardine of FL, Bernadette and Michael Hennessy of Bolton, Theresa and Joel Grout of Manchester, and Imelda Balboni of CA; his in-laws Michael and Jeanne Torello of NC and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary and John Mandeville of Cromwell. He was predeceased by his parents William and Elena Balboni, brothers Robert and Kenneth and sister Kathleen Balboni. Family and friends may call at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester on Thursday, May 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church, Manchester.
