Obituary of Constance Marianne Brannick

Constance Marianne Brannick, loving wife for over 50 years of the late William Brannick, passed away peacefully at Crestfield Rehabilitation Center in Manchester on April 18, 2013. She was born June 23, 1918, in Manchester, CT, and was the daughter of Anna Pansullo DellaFera and Felix DellaFera. She married Bill in 1945 when he returned to her after traveling the world as part of the U.S. Army during World War ll. Connie was a communicant of St. Bridget Church, a member of The Holy Family Mothers' Circle, and worked at the Aetna Insurance Company. She is remembered for her love of family and friends, for her compassion, and for her wonderful Italian cooking, which she generously shared with all. Connie will be missed by her daughter Linda B. Jackson Oakman and her husband Mark Oakman of Manchester and her son Richard Brannick and his wife Katie of Sedona, AZ. She will also be missed by her four cherished grandchildren, Jessika Jackson and her husband Christopher Moody of Albany, CA; Matthew Jackson and his wife Carolyn of Narragansett, RI, Christopher Jackson and his wife Cheryl, of Avon, CT, and Sara Lim and her husband James, of Scottsdale, AZ. She is also survived by four sweet great grandchildren, Maevyn Sabine Jackson-Moody, Griffin John Jackson, Claire Constance Jackson, and Benjamin Lim; nieces Sandra Lamo of West Hartford, Heidi Eagleton of Houston, TX, Loyola French of Manchester, and Diana Coulon of LA; nephews Robert Brannick, David Brannick, Marc Brannick, all of Manchester, and James Brannick of NY. She is also survived by her loving sisters Theresa Genovesi of Vernon and Gloria DellaFera of East Hartford. Funeral service will be held on Monday (April 22nd) at 9:15 am from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home 219 West Center St. Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 am at St. Bridget Church 80 Main St. Manchester, CT followed by burial in St. James Cemetery.
