Beatrice "Bea" (Klose) Cross, 75, of Manchester, the wife of Rudy Cross died Sunday (January 1, 2012) at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in New York, NY she grew up, graduated high school in New York City, married and had lived in Manchester for over 50 years. She retired from Meadows Convalescent Center as Head Cook after many years of service and in her retirement she enjoyed her part time job at Stop & Shop in South Windsor. Bea also enjoyed scrapbooking and playing cards with friends. Besides her husband she is survived by her daughters, Jan Smith of York, PA, Roberta Bartholomew and her husband Robert of Somers, CT, and Francesca Guy of Oklahoma City, OK; her grandchildren, Kera Pugrab, Ashira, Zona and Malachi Smith, Brittany Bartholomew, Victoria Foutch, Michael Shields and Amanda Bogart; and her great-grandchildren Aubrey and Ethan Pugrab.
