Obituary of Samuel Velez
Samuel P. Velez, 75, of Manchester, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 14, 2023. Son of the late Gilberto Velez and Aida Perez Velez, Samuel was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on September 10, 1948.
Samuel moved to Manchester in 1986 and he has been a resident for so many years. Samuel worked at Howell Cheney Technical High School as a custodian. He loved watching WWE wrestling and baseball games with the NY Yankees and Red Sox. He loved going to the lake to feed the ducks and geese and also loves going fishing.
Samuel is survived by his loving wife, Virginia Sanchez-Velez of Manchester, his stepchildren, Marisol Lopez of Chicago Ridge, Illinois, and Angel Lopez (his wife Elizabeth) Apopka, Florida; his granddaughters Nicole Wilkey of Lakeland, Florida, Jessica Marie Perozziello of Orlando, Florida, Suwannee Frison of Sanford, Florida and Clarissa Frison Edwards of Davie, Florida.
Services will be held privately and take place at the convenience of the family.
