Obituary of Edward J. Izzo, Sr.
Edward James Izzo, Sr., 87, passed away peacefully on November 3rd, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years Jeanette; his five children Deborah Izzo, Lisa German (Michael), Elizabeth Mcwhirter, Jeanette Izzo, and Edward Izzo Jr.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his beloved family, Edward led a life of service as a lifetime member of the Elks Club, he volunteered countless hours to feeding people in the community, alongside his wife Jeanette. He found success as a boxer and a businessman, putting roofs on countless buildings all through the northeast.
Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Friday, November 10th, from 4-7 p.m. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday, November 11th, at 10:30 a.m. followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Glastonbury.
