Obituary of Romona E. Reyes

Romona Elizabeth “Mona” Reyes, 51, of Manchester, transitioned to Heaven on October 16, 2023. She was born on November 19, 1971, in Massachusetts. She was known as the life of the party and had a special love for her grandkids. Mona was, of course, also a superfan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Mona is survived by her son Rashon Reyes (Cerise), her daughter Shamara Bridges, Adron Bridges (Desiree), and her son Adrian Bridges, as well as her sister Taffy Womack (Andre), her sister Kathy Reyes and her brother Charles Womack. She also leaves behind her best friend Melissa Jenkins, and her birthday twin Kristie Nickens. Mona was a beloved grandmother to her 19 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loving extended family, The Bruins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Miguel Reyes, and her mother, Barbara Jean Lincicone.

Mona’s hobbies included watching football and watching Hell’s Kitchen. Nothing brought her more joy than being around her grandkids and spoiling them with loving gestures.

A funeral service to honor Romona’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 24th, at 11:00 a.m. at John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street, Manchester, followed by the burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield, Massachusetts.
