Obituary of Sandra M. Brooks
Sandra (Werner) Brooks, beloved wife of the late Harold F. Brooks, Sr. passed away on Monday, September 4th, 2023. She was born April 29, 1943, in Manchester, daughter of the late Robert E. Werner and Elsie (Roth) Werner.
She grew up in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School in 1961. Upon graduation, she worked for Bemis and Freeman in Hartford, Mal Tool in Manchester, and worked many years for the Manchester Food Service Program.
She and her husband owned an antique business for many years. She loved to cross stitch and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the N.Y. Giants.
She leaves two brothers, Robert (Dianne) Werner of Clinton and Lenard (Lynn) Werner of Andover. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Calling hour and funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 40 Pitkin St., Manchester from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., with service immediately following. Burial will be held at East Cemetery.
