Jane H. Bickford, 72, of South Windsor, CT, passed away on March 2, 2013 from complications due to cancer. Jane was born in Redruth, Cornwall, England on June 2, 1940. She graduated from Edgehill Girls College and continued to receive degrees in Nursery Nursing, Medical Assisting, Paralegal, and Real Estate. Jane came to Christ on March 10, 1954 and grew in the knowledge of His love for her and confidence in Him. Jane was married to the late Harry Bickford on October 17, 1970 for 15 years and became a U.S. citizen on February 1, 2002. Jane worked as a nanny, medical assistant, and a paralegal. She enjoyed her pets, quilting, cooking, dressage, bible study and was an active church member. Jane is survived by her aunt Grace Hocking and Wendy and Denis Chandler all of England, her former sister-in-law Ellie Clark, friends Judy Brant, Sarah Roley, Arvine Jackomin, several nieces and nephews, her beloved cat Samantha and many other friends. Jane was preceded in death by her former brother-in-law Glenn Clark, and many other relatives in England and elsewhere, and many pets.
