Obituary of Nancy Sirk
Nancy Sirk, 64, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away Friday, July 28th, 2023, at Hartford Hospital. Nancy was the daughter of the late Joel and Mildred Sirk. Shew as the oldest of 3 children.
Nancy resided at Wapping Wood Road group home in Ellington, CT. She was cherished and loved by staff and her group home peers. Nancy had a heart of gold. She loved singing, laughing, and joking around with loved ones. She enjoyed listening to the Carpenters, looking through magazines and watching her favorite show Gilligan’s Island. Famous for her iconic lines “We’re going for a ride”, “You Going”, “You need to calm down”, and the most famous of them all “Never.”
Always in a happy, loving mood and melted the hearts of whoever is in her presence. Despite all the challenges she was facing, Nancy always wore a smile. She will truly be missed by us all.
