Obituary of Arthur F. Jarvis

Arthur Jarvis 86 from Manchester passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on July 12, 2023, while comfortably at home.

He is survived by his wife Joan (Cwikla) Jarvis, his daughter Erinn Dykstra and her husband Jay, and his two beloved granddaughters Jamie and Amelia. He was predeceased by his son Joel, who worked alongside of him, and he enjoyed snowmobiling with in Vermont.

Arthur owned and worked at A & P Equipment of Manchester, where he enjoyed helping others by servicing their equipment for over 65 years. He was one of 16 children and lived all of his life in Manchester. He was a good brother to his siblings, and they helped each other over the years.

The highlight of his life were his two granddaughters who he frequently watched when they were infants. He was a wonderful “Papa” and enjoyed creating Easter egg hunts for them and making practical jokes to make them laugh. Arthur was a lover of cats and dogs and spoiled them rotten.
