Obituary of Cameron C. Blake
Cameron Charles Blake, 21, of Manchester, died unexpectedly in an accident on Saturday, July 8th, 2023. Born in Manchester on May 27, 2002, he was the beloved son of Ann Taridona-Blake and Robert A. Blake Jr. of Manchester. He was a graduate of Manchester High School and was currently employed at A&A Pest Control.
Cameron was an adventurous and amazing person whose presence will be greatly missed by all those who knew him. He was an avid rock climber, both indoor and outdoor. A former MHS wrestler, he loved learning mixed martial arts, Muay Thai and earned a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, cultivation, the outdoors, and could solve any kind of Rubik’s cube type puzzle. Although his time in this world was short, he lived and loved abundantly.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his brother Nolan Blake of Manchester; his grandparents Agnes Taridona of East Hartford, Robert and Elizabeth Blake of Manchester; his aunts and uncles Debbie Nelis, Cheri Johnson and her husband Craig, Kristen Gordon and her husband Gary, Samantha Setzler, Beverly Taridona and her husband Jonathan Tarnow, and Dennis Kenneth Taridona and his wife Sheila; and numerous cousins and friends.
Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Friday, July 14th, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. A funeral home service will begin at 12 p.m. followed by burial at St. James Cemetery.
