Obituary of Ronald A. Larsen

Ronald Andrew Larsen, 87, of Manchester, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday June 1, 2023. Ron was born to George and Margaret Larsen in Manchester. After graduating in 1955 from Manchester High School, he enlisted and served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958. He was then employed by Rogers Corporation in Manchester until his retirement in 2002.

For most of his life, “Captain Ron” spent his best times on the water, at the shore, in Niantic, on his boat the “Sunkist”.

Ron is recently preceded in death by his daughter Margo. He is survived by his half-sister Sharon Pack and her husband Raymond, of Florida; his daughter Elizabeth Burns and her husband Sean and their daughter Lacey Burns-Hupperetz and her husband Simon; his son Michael Larsen and his partner Rocco Aquilino; his daughter Carrie LaBell and her husband Noel LaBell and their son, Spencer LaBell.
