Obituary of Jo Ann Vietts
Our beloved Jo Ann Vietts-Sheekey was united in Heaven with the love of her life, her husband William “Bill” Sheekey, her beautiful daughter Patty Vietts, grandson Timothy Bernache, and her parents Orlando and Rose Moriconi, on May 6, 2023.
Her most precious treasure is her beautiful family. She is survived by her one and only son Kevin Vietts, Sr. and his wife Cindy, her lovely daughter Rose Mary Mazur and her husband Mike, her favorite grandsons Kevin Vietts Jr. and his lady friend Connie, Christopher Vietts and his children Holand and Christopher Jr., Brian Vietts and his wife Lauren and their son Theo, and Wesley Brandon. She is also survived by her beautiful sisters Bernice Mariconi, Dee and Orlanda Alliod, and her brother Ed Moriconi. Along with many step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, very special nieces and nephews and her best friend Starr Lutzen.
She was a member of the Englewood Moose Lodge 1933 for over 40 years, where she loved to dance to the Hop and play queen of hearts. She was known around the Englewood, FL, community for being Winn Dixie’s favorite lottery lady and making the best homemade spaghetti.
She was born August 29th, 1937, in Manchester, CT, where she will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at East Cemetery on June 2, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
