Obituary of Gail M. Dickenson
Gail M. Dickenson, 82, of Vernon, passed away on April 5, 2023, at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the late James and Margaret (Sheehan) Brogan, she was born on April 11, 1940.
Gail graduated from Manchester High School in 1958 and spent some time as the secretary to Rev. Robert Saunders at East Catholic. She married the love of her life, Eugene Dickenson on September 10, 1960. Together they raised their son Kevin and owned and operated Memory Lane Antiques in Coventry. Gail loved antique shopping and hunting, and every trip she and Eugene made included an antique store.
Gail is survived by her loving husband Eugene; her son Kevin and his wife Xiao Jin; sister-in-law Pat Nelson, her nieces and nephews, special friend Ann Marie, and many loving cousins, friends, colleagues and her Coventry community. Special thanks to Evergreen Healthcare and Johnson Memorial Hospital, as well as “Home Instead” Home Healthcare for their tremendous care.
