Obituary of William A. Duley
William (Bill) Duley, 64, ended his long battle with cancer on Thursday March 16, 2023.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 33 years Jean Hale Duley, and his 3 children, daughters Kaitlyn Duley and Shannon Duley and son Justin Cowell, his beloved grandchildren Sage, Josahn and Mason Murphy, Cameron Hasemann, Jordan Burkhalter, Jaelyn Curry, Damien and Dakota White. Bill was also predeceased by his beloved daughter Samantha White and his loving mother-in-law Betty Northrop. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law Cathy Hale Mann and husband Don, Lori Hale Klotzer and husband Gary and our nieces and nephews.
Bill was the quality control manager at General Digital Corp. of East Hartford for almost 20 years before he had to retire due to his illness. He was a loving husband, father and Papa. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and also loved playing Boom Beach, where he had a wonderful group of friends who were a great source of support during his long illness. He will be loved and missed, but we are so grateful his suffering has ended.
Calling hours are Wednesday March 22, 2023 from 11:00am-12:00pm followed by a military service at the Veterans Cemetery in Middletown at 1:00pm.
