Lucille Krinjak

Obituary of Lucille Josephine Krinjak

Lucille J. (Lombardo) Krinjak, 92, of Manchester, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Crestfield Nursing Home. Daughter of the late Paul and Santina (Zappulla) Lombardo Girard, she was born on November 7th, 1930, in Hartford, CT.

After high school graduation, Lucille went on to have many careers such as a crossing guard for Manchester Schools, Mal Tool and Engineering and Amica Insurance for 10 years, where she retired. Lucille married her late husband, Robert (predeceased in 1994) in November of 1957 and together they shared 37 years of marriage. She enjoyed doing crosswords and word searches, but her true passion was bowling. Lucille was a part of the Ladies of St. James Bowling League, where she participated in duck pin bowling. In her later years, her deepest joy came as spending time with her granddaughter and great-grandsons.

Lucille is survived by her children Pamela Brochu and her husband Jim of Manchester, and Susan Shea of Manchester; her granddaughter Carra Straut and her husband Jacob of TN; her great-grandsons Dominic and Jacoby Straut; and niece and nephew Karen and John Krinjak.
