Obituary of Christopher Darling

Christopher Darling, 60, of South Windsor, passed away at Manchester Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 25th, 2023. He was the son of the late Betty Marie (Johndrow) and Wallace Darling. He was a happy-go-lucky guy who loved sports and was always smiling. He was well loved by all.  

He is survived by his siblings Lisa Lima, Ruth Tetreault and her husband Paul, Laurie Nash and her husband Paul, Tammy Niederwerfer and her husband Ron, Rebecca Smith and her husband Eric, and Steven Darling and his wife Jennifer; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, paternal grandparents Lee and Christina Darling, maternal grandparents George and Carol Johndrow, brothers Timothy Darling and Jamie Darling, and his step-mom Ethel (Droin) Darling.  

Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St. in Manchester on Monday, March 6th, 2023, from 10 am to 12pm with a funeral home service immediately following. Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 8th at 1 pm at East Cemetery.
