The O'Neill sisters were such addition to our St. Mark parish and to the Westbrook community I just learned today that Mary had passed. She was a beautiful woman and I will miss her notes and calls.

Truly, the end of an era--I remember as a kid how excited my mother would get when "the O'Neill's were coming to Phila. for some wedding or funeral or other family gathering. Mary, Betty and Johanna were, without a doubt, the kindest and most pleasant people to ever be around. The fact that they all lived a full and wonderous life into their 9th and 10th decades is a story we all can tell our own families. I feel blessed to have all three of them in my life for all my life. I'm really sorry I can't make it up to say a proper goodbye, but I know we'll all be gathering again some day. And when that day comes, we'll all the laughing hysterically again, I'm sure.
Rest in peace Mary, with Betty and Johanna, you are together again!!
Jack Delaney

My aides and myself, at Connecticut Senior Homecare were truly blessed to have met and cared for such a wonderful woman for two years. Mary was the absolute sweetest lady who was always asking about ourselves and our family. Never once did we do one thing for Mary that she did not thank us for. She was an avid Catholic who watched and participated in mass everyday, she loved playing scrabble and a game bananas with her aides, she loved her game shows, she was always so thankful for the care given to her. A beautiful, classy woman who lived a full life. She celebrated her 101th birthday in January. God bless her always. She brought as much joy to us as she said we did to her. Rest in peace my dear Mary. ❤️
