Obituary of James J. Matteis
James J. Matteis, 77, of Manchester, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Born in Hartford to the late Joseph and Anne (Grano) Matteis. James was a Fireman with the Hartford Fire Department, Engine Company 10 on Franklin Avenue.
He is survived by his daughters Dawn Secor and her husband Jason of Bristol and their children Madison and Megan, Jennifer Matteis Lazauski and her husband Raymond of Torrington and their children Madison, Jesse and Lucas, and Lisa Radzunas of Bristol.
Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 from 2-4pm.
