Obituary of Burton C. Baskerville
Burton C. Baskerville, 80, of Vernon and previously of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022. Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Curtis and Mary (Freeman) Baskerville.
Burt attended Manchester schools and was very well known in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island for his baseball skills. He was also inducted into the Manchester Sports Hall of Fame. Burt was employed in the construction field throughout his career. In his leisure time he was an avid reader and enjoyed doing word search puzzle.
He is survived by his daughter Tracy Brainard of Manchester, brother Barry Baskerville and his wife Lois of East Hartford, sister Hazel Baskerville of East Hartford, as well as a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings Ethelene Berry, and Gary “Tony” Baskerville.
