Obituary of Donna Moyles
Donna Marie Moyles,78, of Manchester, CT, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the late Walter and Phyllis Smith, she was born on December 29, 1943, in Lincoln, Maine.
She married the love of her life Edward "Whitey" Moyles on September 5, 1970. They enjoyed taking family vacations, spending time together doing weekend trips, or spending weekends at their camp in Vermont. Donna loved watching birds and caring for her houseplants.
She was a kind, generous, caring woman who helped many people throughout her life including family and friends. Donna had a long career as a caregiver and housekeeper at Bidwell (now Touchpoints) in Manchester before she retired.
Donna is survived by her daughter Laura Moyles, her son Edward "Whitey" Moyles, her grandchildren Christopher Moyles, Jacob Moyles, and Anna Price; her sisters Sally MacDonald, Gayle Moriarty and her husband Ed, her brothers Douglas Smith and his wife Sue, Michael Smith and his wife Dawn, and lots of nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Edward "Whitey" Moyles, she was predeceased by her brother Walter "Puddy" Smith.
