Obituary of Andrew Kearns

Andrew “Andy” Kearns, 72, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 1, 2022. He was the son of the late Leonard and Leona (Hawkes) Kearns.

Andy was a 1969 graduate of Manchester High School. During his high school years, he hung out at The Dugout, a good friend of professional pool player Larry Liscotti. A true hippie at heart, he attended Woodstock, and was an avid Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix fan. Later in life, he took care of his Dad “Skip” Kearns. He loved animals, always having a cat or a dog.

Andy is survived by his brother Christopher Kearns and his wife Diane of East Hartford, nieces and nephews Kimberly Kearns of Bolton, Debby Kearns, Paul Kearns and Danny Kearns all of East Hartford, great uncle to Rowan and Melora Kearns of Glastonbury, as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, and brothers Lenny and Mike Kearns.
