Obituary of Daniel E. Jakowski

Daniel E. Jakowski, 75, of Manchester, beloved husband of Jeanne-Marie (Poulin) Jakowski, passed away at home on Sunday, October 30th, 2022. He was born in Tampaville, FL to the late Edward and Patricia Mary (McKenna) Jakowski. He was a Vietnam veteran with the US Army.  

Along with his wife Jeanne-Marie, he leaves behind his brother Doug Paul, sister Denise Liles, nephew Matthew Liles and his wife Ashley, and niece Ariel McFarlane; his stepdaughters Kimberly and her husband Tom Serafin of New Britain, and Victoria Stewart of Glastonbury; grandchildren Angelina, Gary and Jasmine, brother-in-law Gilbert Poulin, as well as his fur babies Minnie and Coco. He was predeceased by his brother James Jakowski.  

Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Monday, November 7th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with a memorial service immediately following. Burial with military honors will be held at the Hillstown Road Cemetery in Manchester.
