I loved Karen's smile & laughter! She was always happy go-lucky & never seemed to have a worry in the world! We first met at Bennett Jr High and after leaving school for the day, someone had called Karen & someone called out Maria & we found that yes, we did look very much alike! We were often mistaken for each other & were so happy to meet! I'll never forget her! My deepest condolences to her family and friends!

I met Karen through Charlie, who I’ve known for close to 20 years now. Since recently moving to MA, Charlie and I have remained in touch and done some very fun musical collaborations, for which I am very grateful. When we still lived in CT, my wife and I dined out together with Charlie and Karen a few times, and of course had lots of fun and laughs. I certainly wish I had gotten to know Karen even better. But, some people give off such a “vibration”, you feel you have a good sense who they are anyway. Karen was definitely one of those people. Kind, sincere, positive, with a big heart and no malice towards anyone. That was what my gut told me, and Charlie confirmed this to me as well many times. If there are more important traits a person can have on this earth, I can’t think of any. Clearly, Karen was a luminant soul to those around her.
Charlie, my good friend, love and deepest condolences to you and your family. God bless you all and God bless Karen’s spirit.

Karen was such a beautiful person andI considered her a very close friend. We met working at the bank and soon discovered that our sons were in a band together. She was definitely a glass half full kind of person and had a beautiful, warm smile. I would like to share this with the family. I lost my mom a few years ago the day after christmas. While talking with my sisters we found ourselves chuckling remembering all the zany crazy things my mom did over the years . I like to call it “remember when”. Try and think of something funny every day to tell your children so they have wonderful memories to look back on. Think of “remember when” daily whether around the table with the family or quietly with yourself. Keep a special momento of her so when you see it every day you smile and enjoy a comforted moment. Keep a piece of clothing or a blanket so you can cuddle with it when you’re feeling blue. All these things made my sad times turn to glad times and I pray they’ll make your grieving time shorter and keep your warm, fuzzy memories with you always. All my love to you and my arms will always be wide open in case you need a big “Karen like” hug. She always had a magical way of making you feel better. Kim Tasse.

To the dear family of Karen,
Karen is one of my earliest friends I remember from our childhood growing up on Eldridge and Clinton Street in Manchester. She and Johnah and I played together so often. So many wonderful memories of her and her lovely family. She was bright, beautiful, vibrant and so much fun. She always brought a huge heart and smile with her wherever she was. My sincere sympathy to her family and to those who hold her dear. May God be your source of hope and strength at this difficult time.
Our sincere sympathy,
Jeanne (Cordera) & David Palleschi

I've known Karen since 9th grade. We went to MHS and graduated the same year. But I knew her mostly through her husband Charlie. We were in a band together, on and off, for decades, so I met her when she was "Charlie's awesome girlfriend", but alos had the privilege to know her as "Charlie's awesome wife". And she was. Smart and sweet and unfailingly upbeat, with a smile that could light up any room.
She and Charlie had 3 awesome kids, a testament to their awesomeness as parents and grandparents. She was classy and kind, and always laughed at my jokes. All the members of the band had a soft spot in their hearts for Karen. I never knew anyone who didn't like her, or who had a bad word to say about her. She was a wonderful woman who leaves a legacy of love in her wake.
To my friend Charlie, I love you like a brother, and I will never forget how supportive you were for me and my family when my wife passed away. If there is anything I can do for you or your beautiful family, please don't hesitate to reach out. My love and sincerest condolences to you all.
God bless her shining spirit.
