Obituary of Dorothy A. Carlmark
Dorothy A. Carlmark, 91, beloved wife of the late Richard W. Carlmark, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at Woodlake at Tolland. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Anna (Bloom) Giles. Dorothy was employed for many years at Dowding, Moriarty and Dimock Insurance in Rockville.
Dorothy was an avid Red Sox, New England Patriots and UCONN Women’s basketball fan, she especially liked Tom (Terrific) Brady!
She leaves behind her children Donna Haddock, Howard Carlmark and his wife Sandra, and Deanna Follo; grandchildren Sean, Richard, Jason, Nathan, Stuart, Justin, Anja, Jordan, Casey, Samantha, Nicholas, and Kara; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, son David Carlmark, sons-in-law John Haddock and Louis Follo, Jr., and sisters Irene Leone and Mildred McCall.
Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM with a reception immediately following. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 31st, 2022, at 11:00AM at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 523 Hartford Tpke, Vernon.
