Obituary of Priscilla Labbe

Priscilla Labbe, 78, of East Hartford , passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Daughter of the late Edmond and Inez (Tardie) Labbe, she was born on October 8, 1943 in Winterville, Maine.

Priscilla enjoyed many pleasures in life, her greatest of which was her family. Some of her fondest memories include helping her mother cook for the family and potato workers, and being the family babysitter. Priscilla enjoyed watching everyone's children and being that shoulder to lean on. However, her kindness did not just stop at family. Priscilla was known for handing out ice cream and popsicles on hot days to all of her neighbors. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening and watching the birds at the feeder in her garden, and she especially loved seeing her roses bud in springtime. 

Priscilla is survived by her siblings Richard Labbe of Groton and Leopaul Labbe of Manchester and her many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Shirley Williams, Leora DeVoe, Norma Sheridan, Lucille Barnum, Rosa Labbe, Reno Labbe and John Labbe.

John F. Tierney Funeral Home has care of the arrangements. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, October 16 from 12-2pm. Burial will take place on Monday, October 17 at 11am at St. James Cemetery in Manchester.
