Obituary of Rose Ann Sabatini

Mrs. Rose Ann Sabatini, 78, of Manchester, CT (formerly of Rome, NY), passed away after a long illness, on September 4, 2022, at home

surrounded by her children.

She was born in Utica, the daughter of Jack and Frances (Mercadante) Scire. She was married in Rome, NY in 1962 to Primo F. Sabatini. She held other positions during her life, but she was most proud of the 25 plus years she spent at the New York State School for the Deaf assisting others.

She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church when she resided in Rome, NY and then Faith Baptist Church when she moved to Manchester, CT.

Rose Ann is survived by her loving children: Primo V. Sabatini and his wife Anna, Paul Sabatini and his life partner Ellen Krisolofsky, Laura Lomaglio (formerly Sabatini) and her fiancé Eric Lhuillier, and Jennifer Sabatini and her husband George Stanchfield. She is also survived by her siblings: Francine and her husband Tim Paciello and Donna and her husband Joe Salerno.

Rose Ann is also survived by her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she adored: Paul V. Lomaglio, Joseph M. Lomaglio and his wife Paige, Ariana Stanchfield, Emily Stanchfield, Primo Sabatini Jr., Nicolas Sabatini, Antonio Sabatini, Michael Sabatini, Dasha Pickett, and Katy Golondiy. Great-grandchildren are Christian Lomaglio, Joseph Lomaglio, Sophia Lomaglio, Dutton Lomaglio, Mason Sabatini, and Elenora Pickett.

She had many special friends including Kathy Hojnacki. She leaves behind her dog, CiCi, which she adored.  

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Primo F. Sabatini, her parents, Jack and Frances Scire, her siblings: Mark Scire and Jack Scire Jr.

There will be no services and she will be laid to rest next to her spouse, Primo, at St. John’s the Baptist Cemetery in Rome, NY.
