Obituary of Theresa G. Price

Theresa Jean (Grous) Price, of Vernon, CT, born November 30, 1946, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Bernice (Boron) Grous and Joseph Grous, Sr. as well as her sisters Pat Avery and Joan Krajewski and sister-in-law Carol Grous. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard D. Price, two children Cynthia Wells and Richard D. Price, Jr., her son-in-law Simon Wells, daughter-in-law Vickie Price, grandchildren Emily and Maya Wells, Doyle Price and Haylee Robertson, three brothers Donald, Frank and Joseph Grous, Jr. a sister-in-law Betty Grous, nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Terry lived an active, industrious and full life. Whether she was entertaining family and friends, teaching her kids how to swim, baking delicious cinnamon rolls, or cheering on her grandkids at their events, her love and generosity flourished. Our world is fortunate to have been blessed with such a kind and caring person, and she will forever be our guardian angel.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard Church, 25 St Bernard Terrace, Rockville, CT. Followed by a reception downstairs in the church hall. Thank you to Visiting Nurses, Smilow Cancer Center, and the many thoughtful individuals involved in helping Terry and her family over the past few years.
