Obituary of James W. Fitzgerald III

James W. Fitzgerald III, age 74, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2022, at his home in Texas with his wife, Mary Ann and his special canine companions, Macie and Gracie at his side.

Jimmy was born and grew up in Manchester, CT. He relocated to Texas where he worked for American Airlines until his retirement. He then enjoyed doing community service including hospital volunteer work.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann (Parker) Fitzgerald and their beloved puppies, Macie and Gracie. He also leaves a brother-in-law, Tom Parker of Connecticut, sisters-in-law Linda of Massachusetts and Carolyn of Maine and special cousins Gail Dougela and husband, Jim of Connecticut, all who loved him very much. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Marjorie Fitzgerald.

Burial will be in Manchester, Connecticut. At his request, services will be private. Arrangements are being provided by the John F. Tierney Funeral Home of Manchester, CT. Condolences may be shared on their website at www.tierneyfuneralhome.com.
