Obituary of Juana Masota

Juana F. Masota, 92, of Manchester, beloved wife of Juanito R. Masota, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 in Hartford Hospital surrounded with her loved ones. Born in the Philippines in June, 1929 to her parents Canuto Formento and Flaviana Canencia Formento. She was predeceased by her husband Juanito and her parents, brothers and sister namely; Aquilino, Glicerio, Geronima Formento Tumangob, Canuto, Jr. and Alex. She was also predeceased by her sons and daughter namely; Diosdado, Andres, Pedro and Rosalinda and a grandson, Domirante.

Juana is survived by her daughter Lina M. Salvatore and her husband Vince and her grandchildren Christopher Anthony and April Dawn Salvatore. Also Justin M. Willette. She is also survived by her sister, Alicia, son, Dominador and daughter Evangeline M. Codilla and her husband Eugene and their children; Gregory John, Elisha Marie Angeli, Eugene Paul and Michael Gabrielle. Also survived by a few grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A very devoted housewife, mother and grandmother, Juana was well-loved and well respected by her family and friends and will surely be missed.

Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street, Manchester, on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Assumption, 27 Adams St. South in Manchester. Burial will follow at East Cemetery.
