Obituary of Maureen Shannon
Maureen Shannon, 50, of Middletown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Jane (Derminer) Shannon. Maureen was a graduate of Manchester High School and then continued onto hairdressing school. She was a hairdresser for years, and then furthered her education becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Maureen leaves behind her sisters Jean Chasse and her husband Dan of Coventry, and Caryn Lang and her husband Jason of Manchester; nieces and nephews Brytnie Ahern, Kayla Lang, and Kaitlyn, Jordan and Brianna Chasse; her boyfriend Kirk Rediker; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may call on the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St., Manchester, on Thursday, April 14th, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., with a funeral home service immediately following. Burial will be held at St. James Cemetery.
