Obituary of David LaForge

David LaForge, 68, of Manchester passed peacefully Monday, March 21, 2022, surrounded by family and supported by friends. A lifelong resident of Manchester, David retired from the Manchester Board of Education. David loved nature and the outdoors. In his younger years he raced and fixed motorcycles. In his later years he enjoyed gardening and spending time with his many friends and neighbors. Anyone who knew Dave loved his jokes and sense of humor.  He will be sorely missed. David wanted to thank everyone for their love and the support that they gave him while battling cancer. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby Jarvis LaForge and Joseph LaForge, his wife Amy Albasi, and sister Loraine Dziedzic. He is survived by his two sons Joshua and Jonathan LaForge, and their wives Jennifer LaForge and Tracey LaForge, his daughter Megan LaForge, as well as five grandchildren Hunter, Aubree, Jameson, Jack and Jayce LaForge; his brothers Paul and Thomas LaForge; his nephews Peter, Daniel, and niece Laurie; two uncles George and Arthur Jarvis, and his former wife and mother to his children Joyce Murphy.
