Obituary of Xiuzhen Wang

On, Saturday March 5, 2022, we lost our dear and beloved Xiuzhen Wang after a long-fought battle with cancer.  Xiuzhen was born in China and immigrated to this country in 2014 becoming a permanent resident not long after. Xiuzhen was a beloved mother, wife and Grandmother who was physically fit and active and loved Tai Chi and Qigong Chinese exercise and meditation, took 45 minute walks daily (weather permitting) year around and was a woman of great faith in her religion and made each day positive and productive. 

 

Xiuzhen’s mother’s name was Maoying Song, and her father’s name was Guangwu Wang who have both passed away., and she had 3 sisters and 1 brother in China.  Xiuzhen is survived here in the United States by her husband of 83 years, Mr. Dunning Liu, their two daughter’s; Fei (Grace) Liu and Constance Zoppi, along with her Nephew, Lee Liu, son-in-law David Zoppi and Grand Son Christopher Zoppi.  

We love Mama and will miss her always and shall keep her memory in our hearts and minds for all time.  The wake will be held at Tierney Funeral Home,  219 W Center Street in Manchester Connecticut.  Public calling hours for friends and family will be on Wednesday, March 9th from 10:00-11:00 a.m.  The funeral services will be held at St. James Cemetery, 360 Broad Street in Manchester, Connecticut, immediately following the calling hours.
