Robert S. Harding, 84, of East Hartford, died Saturday (December 10, 2011) at Manchester Manor. Born in Rome, NY he was the son of Stuart and Rose (Calkins) Harding and had lived in East Hartford for many years. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Trinity College and his PhD from Rochester University. He was a US Navy Veteran and had retired from Combustion Engineering after many years of service as a Nuclear Physicist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. He is survived by his brother Richard Harding and his wife Elizabeth of Vernon, his sister Carol Harvey and her husband William of Marlborough, his brother-in-law Milton Tedford of Vernon, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Stuart Harding and his sister Betty Tedford. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. The John F.
