Constance (Connie) E. Shea
August 27, 1932 – January 2, 2022

Connie Botticello Shea, died at Hartford Hospital with her family by her side on January 2, 2022, at the age of 89. Connie was predeceased by her husband Edward W. Shea, her father Vito Botticello and mother Isabella Cardlicchio, her loving son Timothy Shea, her brothers Tom, Paul, Joseph, Tony and Butch Botticello and her best friend and devoted sister Camille Birge

Connie is survived by her children Edward and wife Lynn Shea of Willington, Patrick and wife Eileen Shea of South Windsor, Brian Shea of Manchester, and Elizabeth and husband Giacomo Ruscoe of Richland Hills, TX. Her grandchildren Timothy Shea, Katie Shea, Steven Shea, Kyle Shea, Marisa Shea, Kelly Shea, Emily Shea and Tiernan Shea, as well as 14 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her special sister-in-law Evelyn Botticello.

Connie was a Manchester resident her entire life. She was a communicant at Assumption Church in Manchester. She was a wonderful, kind, loving and incredibly generous person. She loved her family, was an excellent cook and loved when her family stopped over so she could feed them. Her favorite pastime was going to one of the casino’s and buying lottery tickets. Connie sold Avon for many years and was a longtime waitress at Willie’s Steakhouse in Manchester.

She was able to stay at home until she passed due to the love and devotion of her son Brian Shea and granddaughter, Katie Shea.
