She was born on December 24, 1923 in Pawtucket, RI the daughter of the late Malachi and Loretta (Burns) Kelly. Geraldine was a Registered Nurse at South County Hospital, Wakefield, RI and later was a school nurse at Manchester High School in Manchester, CT where she lived for many years. She was a member of the Ladies of St. James, Mother Circle and an active volunteer for the American Red Cross. Until her illness she was a daily communicate of both St. James and St. Francis Church. She is survived by five children, Andrew Hoyt, Mary Hoyt, David Hoyt, Michael Hoyt and William Hoyt, five grandchildren, Dylan, Lydia, Kyle, Erica and Jessica and one sister, Anita Wims. She was pre deceased by four brothers and four sisters, Mary Cahill, John Kelly, Malachi Kelly, Jr., Loretta Kelly, Michael Kelly, Helen Oxley, James Kelly and Barbara Pelletier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday (Dec. 23, 2006) 11:00 a.m. at St. James Church 896 Main St. Manchester, CT followed by a procession to St. James Cemetery Manchester for burial.
